Fees payment Policy

Terms And Conditions For Fee Payments

  1. The Parent may make online payments via the link provided by the Accountant. SkySCHOOL will not be responsible for any loss / liability arising out of disclosure of debit card/credit card details by using any other mode of payment
  2. If the Parent wishes to pay via a wire transfer without using a debit card / credit card, he/she may directly transfer to the bank account mentioned in the invoic.
  3. The records of the transaction, computerized or otherwise, on the payments shall be accepted as conclusive evidence of the genuineness and accuracy and binding for all the purposes.
  4. The parent should ensure that their account is adequately funded for a successful transaction. Any charge / levy by the service provider / bank on account of an unsuccessful transaction due to inadequate funds in the parent’s account will be recoverable from the parent.
  5. Payment options : Monthly, termly or as Lump sum. There is a 10% discount available for Lump sum payment (10 months together).
  6. Sibling discount : 5% on the younger sibling.
  7. Referral discount for guardians who refer family and friends will be USD 25 per family of referral. This will be deducted from the tuition fee of the existing guardian once the new (referred) guardian makes the first tuition fee payment. It is a one time payment and the referred guardian has to mention the existing guardian’s name in the application form in order to avail this referral discount.
  8. All Fees once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.
  9. Invoices will be emailed by the Accounts office to the guardian’s email address provided at the time of admission. In case of any change in email addresses the guardians are liable to inform it to the school.
  10. The guardians must have a firm commitment to pay fees on time which will facilitate the smooth access of classes.
  11. Failure to make the payment before the 5th day of the current month will result in the learner marked as an ‘outstanding payment student’.
  12. After a series of emails reminders and Whatsapp messages to the guardians if the payments are not received by the mid of the current month, the access to Microsoft Teams platform will be restricted until payments are settled.
  1. In case there shall be a reversal of charges paid online, the cost of reimbursement (bank charges, etc.) will be borne by SkySCHOOL if the reason for reversal is due to the negligence of SkySCHOOL.
  2. These terms must be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions mentioned in the Application form signed by the parent.

E-Safety And Data Protection Policy

  1. SkySCHOOL is committed to protecting personal data in alignment with ISO standards for online schools. This policy outlines measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of all data, safeguarding information across all operations.
  2. Personal data is collected strictly for educational and operational purposes, with SkySCHOOL adhering to lawful bases, minimizing data to necessary information only, and ensuring compliance when handling sensitive information.
  3. Rigorous security protocols include role-based access and continuous monitoring, and regular data backups to prevent unauthorized access and protect personal data at all times.
  4. SkySCHOOL follows strict retention policies, typically retaining data for one academic year or as legally required. All data is securely deleted once retention periods end, ensuring no residual data remains.
  5. Individuals may access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of their data. SkySCHOOL promptly addresses all requests to respect and uphold individual data rights.
  6. Data is shared only with authorised educational partners, third-party service providers under strict agreements, and parents or legal guardians as per legal standards.
  7. In case of a data breach, SkySCHOOL has a robust response plan to contain, mitigate, and notify relevant authorities, including affected individuals. A thorough investigation and documentation follow all incidents to prevent future breaches.
  8. All staff undergo regular training to stay current on data protection best practices, focusing on the responsibilities of handling educational data in alignment with ISO standards.
  9. This policy is reviewed annually, with updates as necessary, to ensure compliance with evolving standards. SkySCHOOL’s management strives to maintain secure, trusted practices, continually enhancing the learning environment for all stakeholders.

Tech Policy

  1. Device Hardware and Software Requirements: Windows Laptops/Desktops: Intel i5/i7 or AMD Ryzen 5/7, 8GB+ RAM (16GB recommended), 256GB SSD (512GB recommended), Windows 10/11, HD or FHD display, and 8-hour+ battery. Mac Laptops/Desktops: Apple M1/M2, 8GB+ RAM (16GB recommended), 256GB SSD (512GB recommended), macOS Monterey or later, Retina display. Recommended headsets: Logitech H390, Jabra Evolve 40, or Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000 with noise-canceling microphones.
  2. Backup and Redundancy: Backup devices, UPS (6-hour minimum), and secondary wireless internet required for continuity.
  3. Recommended Bandwidth: 2 Mbps for general use, 1.5 Mbps for HD video calls, 4 Mbps for FHD group calls, and 50-150 kbps for audio and screen sharing.
  4. Demo Viewing and Compliance: Staff, Guardians and Learners must view the IT demo and submit a compliance form; failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
  5. Microsoft Teams Access: Use SkySCHOOL credentials; update profile with accurate details. Request approval for external App; integration with Microsoft Teams systems is mandatory.
  6. All external links/websites require Senior Management review/approval before sharing; use secure sharing features in Teams.
  7. Follow structured file organization, assign access by role, and back up critical files as per retention policies.
  8. Compliance and Monitoring: Participate in all IT audits and training sessions as scheduled.
  9. Report any data breaches or instances of non-compliance immediately to the IT department.
  10. Data Management: Protect data from unauthorized access. Limit access to authorized personnel only, with regular backups.
  11. Record Management: Safeguard learner and school records; retain for one academic year.
  12. SkySCHOOL’s IT policy is continuously updated and reviewed by top management. The management strives to integrate the latest and most effective technologies to enhance the learning environment for all learners.

5. Tabs or Smartphones shall be used only as a backup for online classes in case the laptop or desktop devises are having incidental issues.
6. SkySCHOOL educators shall provide basic tech support guidance in class to pupils having minor engagement issues however it shall be the parent’s responsibility to rectify and correct issues beyond educator’s support.
